The New Zealand Law Review is published quarterly and features outstanding articles and subject area reviews written by experts in their field.
Upcoming events: Welcome to the Brown Bag series for 2024. The Brown Bag series of seminars is open to all but aimed predominantly at less experienced practitioners. The aim of the series is to enable such practitioners to learn from the judiciary and senior members of the profession about topical procedural and substantive issues in the law. This year’s offering follows that format. The LRF has arranged for two members of the High Court bench to share their experiences. In addition, four seminars will involve acknowledged subject-matter experts talking about: class actions, regulatory law, intellectual property, and climate change litigation. We encourage firms to support their more junior solicitors to attend these seminars. The seminars will be held over the lunch period of 1pm to 2pm in an informal setting at one of six leading law firms in Auckland.
