About the Speaker


Matt is a litigation partner at Chapman Tripp where he specialises in competition law, intellectual property, investigations and corporate criminal matters.

He is the author of leading antitrust textbook, New Zealand Competition Law and Policy, and writes for a range of common law-based legal journals including the New Zealand Law Review where he is a regular contributor.  Matt taught competition law at the University of Auckland’s School of Law for many years from 2007 onwards.

Matt is also a director of Chapman Tripp Patents.
